FMS 194 How appropriate!

Hi!  Today I have a Thank You card that I created using the Freshly Made Sketches # 194 and Stampin’ Up!’s Market Fresh Designer Series Paper.  How appropriate that I’m using Market Fresh on a Freshly Made Sketch card.  LOL.

When I looked at the sketch I was immediately inspired to make this card with the matching grape clusters.  The two images were so close that I just had to use them.  First I stamped the grape cluster “Thanks a Bunch” on Very Vanilla with Momento Tuxedo Black ink.  I colored the grapes with Blackberry Bliss, Mossy Meadow and Early Espresso inks using my Aqua Painter.  The Aqua Painter makes me I feel like a “real” artist.  When using this tool a light hand is better.  Apply lightly and then continue to reapply again lightly until you get the shade you want.  It’s a real plus in any crafter’s toolbox.

After finishing the image I stamped the speckled pattern from Gorgeous Grunge over it with Crumb Cake to match the image cut from the Designer Series Paper.  Both images were matted with Early Espresso.

Here’s another quick look at the entire card.

This card will go to a crisis pregnancy center to use as a Thank You card for donations or special help.  I am happy to supply them with hand made cards to use for this purpose, as my donation to the center.

Thanks for stopping by today!  Hope to see you again tomorrow!
