Paper Players Sketch # 255

Here is my interpretation of The Paper Players Sketch # 255.  I used the lovely Stampin’ Up! stamp set “Sprinkles of Life”.  This set is very versatile.  It has cupcakes and ice cream cones and trees and clouds and leaves and flowers!  This would be a great stamp set for a beginning stamper,  a great addition to a limited library of stamps or any library of stamps.

What do you think?  Did I do the sketch justice?  The Paper Players have a new sketch every week and they are quite good.  This one is pretty clean and simple and I like it.

The stamp set and the coordinating punch, the Tree Builder punch, are VERY popular and the punch is currently on back-order.  Consequently I had to hand cut the pieces for the tag.   I know, so difficult, right? LOL Remember when we had to cut most of the images, before Stampin’ Up! started making coordinated punches for a lot of the stamp sets?  When I started as a Demonstrator in 2011 I believe there was one dedicated punch for a stamp set, the bird punch.  Now we have lots to choose from that coordinate with lots of stamps.

The background paper is from the Sweet Lil Things Designer Series Paper.  This is a new paper from Stampin’ Up! and I really like this too.  The patterns are young and fresh.  Some of them are very small patterns and would be great for scrapbooking, another of my favorite activities and I hope to share some of my layouts with you soon.   But for now I must get to working on creating your next sweet creation.  You too, go create something lovely, for yourself or someone else.
