Festive Fireplace

Today I had fun stamping and coloring the images from the Festive Fireplace Stamp Set, found in the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog (that you can now order from!).   I stamped the fireplace image on Cajun Craze with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  Then I used a Aquapainter and applied a little bit of Hello Honey to each brick,  making them seem more real.  I used the Festive Fireside Framelits to trim out the wreath and the mantle.   I also used the Oval Framelits to trim out the sentiment.

Then I stamped the fire image on Very Vanilla again with Memento and colored it in with a mixture of Hello Honey and Cajun Craze for the fire and Soft Suede and Chocolate Chip for the logs.

Does it look real enough?  I hope so.  I live in Florida and I don’t have a fireplace, none of my neighbors do either, because a fireplace in Florida isn’t really necessary, after all it usually only gets really cold one weekend in January or February, then it’s spring again!  At least that’s our joke. LOL  I added the wreath that I stamped in Cucumber Crush and dotted with Cherry Cobbler.  The bow is Cherry Cobbler too.

Everything I used you can also use to make your own card and it can all be found on my website.   I don’t mind if you CASE (Copy And Share Everything) it identically, just mention that you saw it here.  😉  I would actually be very flattered and I’d like to see it so share it here!  So go and create something sweet for somebody!
