First, I got a little carried away and I made another Square Pillow Box. I don’t have a reason for this one, but I’ll find one. I cut this in Pink Pirouette Cardstock.
Do you like the Polka Dot Embossing? I love this. Of course, I love polka dots! I’m trying to use more embossing folders. I think I tend to forget about them. LOL I used the included rounded square to cut a window in one side of the Square Pillow Box and then covered it with a piece of Window Sheet so I can fill the box and not have everything fall out! I love the fact that we can make boxes look so professional by adding windows into them. I added a tag that I stamped with a sweet stamp from the Sweet Stack stamp set and a background stamp from the Perpetual Birthday Calendar. I like the way it mimics the polka dots from the embossing folder.
I used the same ink for the sentiment and the background, I just stamped off (inking the stamp and then stamping once on scrap paper then on your project) the Perpetual Birthday Calendar set. A little bit of a retired Pink Pirouette Satin ribbon (sorry, I’m trying not to do that). The Perpetual Birthday Calendar stamp set has lots of different small background stamps that can be used for lots of different occasions and layouts. There are stars, polka dots, hearts, leaves and butterflies! There is also a watercolor background stamp. I just love it when Stampin’ Up! creates stamps that make us look like real artists, like the watercolor background stamp in Perpetual Birthday Calendar set and Work of Art and Gorgeous Grunge. There are more and you can get them out on my website. Stampin’ Up! does everything it can to help us look good.
I love being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator and sharing with you all the cool things that you can do with our products. I hope that I have given you inspiration to create something sweet for somebody!
