Painted Petals

Sometimes I love a stamp set so much that even after it retires I continue to use it.  That is the case of today’s subject.

Don’t you just love these flowers?  The background paper is from the retired Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper.  I matched the background with Pacific Point and the stems are Mossy Meadow that I stamped off once before stamping on the project.

I used Stampin’ Up! Oval Framelits to cut the two ovals, these the # 3 and # 4 size (counting from the center of the ovals nested).   Then I added a little bit of Wild Wasabi Seam Binding ribbon.   This is just a simple, classic card and with no sentiment on the front it could be sent to anyone for any occasion.  This type of card is something that is very simple to replicate.  Just go find a flower stamp and if you don’t have paper that matches, stamp it on the background paper and then on a smaller piece.  Of course, if you are one of my customers, you probably have matching stamps/paper because Stampin’ Up! specializes in matching.  🙂  If you don’t or are not one of my customers, what are you waiting for?!  Click here to get shopping on my website.

So now, go and create something sweet for somebody!
