PPA # 264 A Sketch Challenge

PPA # 264
PPA # 264

Today I have another Challenge post.  I’m all about Challenges this week.  😉  This is the Paper Players Sketch Challenge # 264.  Above is my interpretation of the sketch.  Here is their sketch….

What do you think?  Did I do a good job?  It’s amazing how much I thrive on positive feedback, and I accept negative too (I just don’t like it as much,  but who does?) .

The card base is Lost Lagoon (one of the 2014-16 In-Colors) with a layer of Sweet Li’l Things DSP and then a layer of Calypso Coral and Very Vanilla.   I stamped the Calypso Coral piece with a stamp from Gorgeous Grunge (probably the most versatile stamp I own) to imitate the lines on the sketch.  They look like sewn lines to me and I just didn’t feel like pulling out the sewing machine!  I stamped the cupcake from Sprinkles of Life stamp set.  The cake part is Delightful Dijon cardstock stamped with Delightful Dijon.  The “frosting” was made with the flower image from the same set and sponged with Watermelon Wonder, Mint Macaron and Crushed Curry.  Then I added a little bit of Silver Dazzling Details to give it sparkle.  I added a button in Lost Lagoon and a little bit of Linen Thread tied around the cupcake and through the button.

To get your hands on the products I used today, go to my online store HERE.  Don’t forget our Weekly Deals HERE.

I’m growing a team and I’d like YOU to be a part.  To find out more click HERE.

Now, I hope this card inspired you to create something sweet for somebody!
