Flap Fold Card

Today I’m sharing a unique way of making a card.  It’s called a Flap Fold Card and I first saw it on Split Coast Stampers.  There was a tutorial posted by Julie Davidson that was very easy to follow.  Thanks Julie!  Here’s my rendition…

This style card would be a great gift card holder by just adding a little pocket on the inside or simply attaching the gift card with repositionable adhesive.  Here’s another view of the opened card….

100_3988I’m not going to give detailed instructions on how to make this card you can go to Split Coast for that.  I used one of my favorite birthday stamp sets “Remembering Your Birthday” on this card and a new stamp set “Sweet Stack”.  This one coordinates with our new project kit Sweet Stack.  The balloon comes from the Sweet Stack Stamp Set.  The cardstock used is Wisteria Wonder and a bit of Farmer’s Market DSP.

100_3989I little bit of Baker’s Twine finishes this off as the string for the balloon.  This card fits in an A2 envelope, even though it looks quite square, it’s not really.

100_3985Hope you enjoyed today’s card.  Remember all of the supplies can be purchased at on my online store.  While you are there check out the Sweet Stack Project Kit, it’s fabulous and you’ll be seeing mine soon!

Now, go and create something sweet for somebody!
